If views make or break a deal for you, you wouldn’t want to say a no to this one. The views of the entire snowcapped Panchachuli as well as Milam glacier, Nangalaphu, and Rajrambha are beyond stunning on a clear sky day. Pros: - great service. Special mention for one staff (forgot to get his name!) who single handedly and with a broad smile was serving all guests from helping with luggage to serving food. Kudos! - large clean rooms - provided electric kettle upon request - heaters available at INR 500 per room per night - the one that tops the charts is of course the balcony with that view. Cons: - not much to fault. Value for money Highly recommend this property! The views are unbelievable and all basic amenities are available. Do carry your basic toiletries if you are visiting here.

Good location on the main-road, ample car parking, fantastic unparalleled view of the snow capped mountains from the first floor rooms, running hot and cold water, wifi, RO water, running kitchen are available. Tourists should allow for lack of some food items on account of remote location .

The owners of the hotel was very helpful until we checked in. There was a sharp turn in the behaviour. They categorically refused to even consider partial refund for a day's stay we could not use because of vehicle breakdown. The front desk staff are most apathetic and were very lethargic in arranging guides and taxis. That is speaking of formally "educated people". On the other hand restaurant staff specifically Chandu ji was very forthcoming in taking orders for dinner and also arranging very good Guide for Kaliya Top Trek and taxi for the same. He was the only bright spot in the establishment. They charge GST but they do not give a gst bill automatically when checking out. I had to haggle to get one.

Stayed for 2 nights in June’22. Milam Inn is a no-frill hotel, located on the side of the road and ahead of the city center / market. The hotel has sufficient parking place. However, the hotel has unrestricted entry / access without much security provisions / checking, which may be a potential safety concern. All the rooms are overlooking the Panchachuli peaks. We were allotted room no. 104 on the ground floor, the room was spacious and reasonably done and fitted with basic fixture and furniture like bed, TV, chairs and table. Peak / Valley can be seen from the room. The washroom was spacious too and reasonably maintained and fitted with geyser, however there were some snags like cracked wash basin and commode seat, low water pressure etc. The room had a balcony overlooking the peak. When we visited, construction work for additional blocks was going on, which may be inconvenient for the guests. The staffs were well behaved and responsive. Had our all meals in the hotel, the foods were tasty and prepared basis our inputs and reasonably priced. On 2nd day evening, we could see the snow clad Panchachuli peaks from the hotel balcony, it was a lovely experience. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
